The old patterns were so cute! This little cowpoke would be adorable as a quilt block. This is from a workbasket sheet and the other motifs on the sheet weren’t western related at all. Kinda typical of workbasket, though.
If you watch old movies sometimes you’ll catch a glimpse of women wearing skirts with Mexican motifs around the hem or a single motif on the pocket that matches the thread in the embroidered peasant top. The flower cart is my absolute favorite!
Old Santa here would stitch up pretty fast. Those furry straight stitches on his hat are so easy!
These kids would be cute in a quilt or split them up and embroider them on clothing. The baby is adorable!
Uh, maybe I’m just a little bit partial to French Knots So many hearts, so little time.
This was on the same sheet as the Little Juan Mexican boy posted earlier. This would be nice for skirts or aprons and of course, peasant blouses.
Is it possible to have too many flowers? Nope.
Such an adorable boy! I love the cactus too with their happy faces.
This would be cool to make in wood or paper mache and balance the spring on a wooden spool.
