The reverse orientation is standard for embroidery transfer but you might like to use these in other ways so I’ve included them forwardly as well. My sewing machine does embroidery and monograms a but the set up takes a lot of time. For the quick and dirty, I just print these out on the laser printer, iron them on to the fabric and drop the feed dogs for free motion stitching. However, hand satin stitching might look better.

Your website is different and original.
I had a list of things to do tonight and I can’t even remember one of them. It’s been a challenge to locate your website as I have looked for it off and on for a week or so. I learned how to embroider in junior high, but quit and didn’t pick it up again until a few months ago. Now I’m constantly searching for vintage embroidery patterns that resemble the ones on tea towels my grandmother made. They lasted for more than 40 years, and I’m determined to make mine last as long. I’ve already completed 10 towels and am working on ones to give my daughters for Christmas this year.
Your website is awesome and I will visit it regularly now. Thank you so much for sharing your treasures with all of us.
God bless.
You are most welcome! I believe we find comfort in surrounding ourselves with things from the past or new heirlooms that remind us of a life that was slow and simple. I hope your daughters enjoy the towels!
Totally wish I had this a week ago! I have been all over the web and you have one of the best collections I’ve found yet!
Thank you!
I’m in love with this site. I love the lazy daisy patterns. All of them actually. Thanks for putting this together. The world is a better place because of you!
Thank you! I’m also a fan of the lazy daisy and for me it’s appropriately named because I am a lazy stitcher.
Thank you so much. I have had quite an enjoyable time looking through your collection. I am definately adding your site to my favorites list. Thank you again.
You are very welcome! It’s my mission to keep the art of hand embroidery alive
Is the transfer set for sale? How much does it cost if it is?
All the patterns are free! Click on the image to bring up the full size and then save to your computer. Once you’ve printed them they can be traced to your fabric or you can use a transfer pencil to trace the lines on the paper and then iron on to fabric as you would any transfer.
